WHO is undertaking a scoping review on AI-enabled systems in family-planning programmes and is asking for documented real-world experience. The call covers counselling, informed choice, service delivery, demand generation, commodity forecasting, provider decision support, monitoring and evaluation, and identifying populations with unmet need.

AI in contraception can shape access, autonomy, privacy and programme planning. Asking for grey literature signals that implementation evidence matters, but every example still needs scrutiny for bias, accuracy, data protection and respect for informed choice.

Submissions close on 30 October 2026. Watch which use cases show measurable results, how tools protect privacy and autonomy, and whether WHO translates the findings into practical guidance.
